SBEM Calculations

SBEM calculations are used to demonstrate compliance with Building regulations Part L (BRUKL reports) and to create a new EPC. SBEM calculations come in two forms; Part L2A (New Builds) and Part L2B (Extensions and conversions).
SBEM calculations will measure and compare the building emission rate (BER) to a Target emission rate (TER). SBEM calculations will also assess the buildings fabrics and building services to make sure they accomplish reasonable standards of energy efficiency.
A site visit is not required for an SBEM calculation to be completed. For our team to carry out an SBEM calculation, the customer should provide as much information about the building as possible.
